Description

Wilde goes to see George, the guy who posed as FBI to question him. He is actually a US Marshal. Wilde infers out that his father Daniel must be in Witness Protection and asks if he can pass messages to him.

Wilde had spent the last few months in Costa Rica, and it was time to return to his remote Ecocapsule deep in the heart of the Ramapo Mountains, in New Jersey, where he belonged in the woods alone. Seventeen years later, Broome, a detective, is yet to find closure in a cold case that involved the disappearance of a local husband and father. Signs that Myron was a gifted basketball player were evident as early as the 6th grade, and he went on to be drafted by the Boston Celtics in the first round, until he shattered his knee during a preseason game against Washington Bullets—ending his career. Already looking forward to Harlan Coben’s next release. Will he continue with this series? Return to Myron and Win? Or perhaps it’s time for another stand-alone? Whatever his direction I’m all in and will be the first in line!🙋🏻‍♀️

There’s even more to watch.

I couldn't put this book down. It filled the void when I didn’t have WiFi, and that says a lot ! The ending was awesome, but it did leave me with some questions that I hope will be answered in the next book featuring Wilde’s character. Wilde heads downtown to meet his “father.” A woman named Danielle shows up saying she’s a retired police officer representing “RJ.”

A congenial marriage to a stunning woman, two wonderful sons, a big house and a good job: Adam Price has a lot to lose. TV journalist Sara Lowell and Michael Silverman, New York’s most blistering basketball star, are the most envied couple on television. Their family, coupled with their far reaching social connections, links them to the very elite in the political, medical, and sports world; a web that will unreservedly tangle them up in a dilemma as controversial as it is destructive. Coben Fans will devour this one! Loved it. Hopefully, we will hear more from these characters in future books. Highly recommend. For Will Klein, Ken-his older brother-was always his hero when they were growing up. But when a young woman, who Will once loved, is found heinously murdered in their lavish New Jersey neighborhood, his older brother becomes the primary suspect in the act.Now in his forties, it’s taken years for Wilde to take a giant step and put his details into a DNA database, in the hope of finally discovering his true identity, and that of his parents. While enjoying their honeymoon on the renowned Great Barrier Reef in Australia, David went out for a swim-only to never return.

His sister disappeared twenty years earlier when she walked into the woods one night, never to be seen again. But when a homicide victim—a boy who vanished along with Paul's sister—is discovered, the evidence links him to the disappearance. As things play out, someone starts murdering online trolls, and some of the victims seem to have a connection with Wilde's inquiries. This puts Wilde on the cops' radar, which is never a good thing.Criminal attorney Hester Crimstein however makes it her mission to find the girl, enlisting the help of Wilde who can’t ignore an outcast in trouble. Wilde has grown up knowing nothing of his family, and even less about his own identity . All he knows is that, as a young child, he was found living a feral existence in the Ramapo mountains of New Jersey. Your daughter disappears. She’s addicted to drugs, has an abusive boyfriend, and has made it clear that she doesn’t want to be found. Discovered living a feral existence in the Ramapo mountains of New Jersey, he has grown up knowing nothing of his parents, and even less about his own identity. Someone visits Katherine, an FBI agent. She broke protocol to help Peter find his online harasser. The mystery visitor is here to tell her that he or she killed Henry. He or she asks Katherine for the other names she found. Katherine gives him the names and is also murdered. (We’re now calling this person the Mystery Killer.) Wilde learns an important new fact about Peter When an adored nun is then found murdered and a mysterious man—who was tailing Matt—turns up dead, all indications point to an ex-con who already served a sentence for a murder.

Just when it seems as though things can’t possibly get any worse than they already have, Marc receives a ransom note with a chilling message: Ten years ago, kidnappers, who had abducted two boys from well-to-do families, demanded ransom before suddenly going silent. For an entire decade, their families were left with nothing save for agonizing memories, with no trace of the boys ever surfacing. This book also features some characters from some previous Coben books, which was a lovely surprise. We learn so much more about Wilde and watch him change his thought and habits. He is a great character, so many layers. Silas and Peter are uncle and nephew. I don’t understand how Silas and Wilde are related. Or who Wilde is related to. Let’s discuss this in the comments.
