About this deal

This is definitely better than I expected, and in part due to the 'trigger' nature of the acceleration button, rather than having an 'on/off' switch which kids especially never turn off with any level of urgency. My son is 8 next month, so right at the bottom of the age range, and has absolutely no problem using this toy, and nor does my 6 year old. The dart it normally sitting in the barrel poking out slightly so I can grab it or sometimes pop a pen down the barrel to move it out.

However, the Hyperfire doesn’t initially cost as much as you might expect, considering it’s the fastest-firing NERF yet – and the foam-fizzing fun it promises will make that extra expense seem worthwhile. To see more of the top Nerf guns at the moment, make sure you have a look at this top list from My Kid Needs That. The blue plate must be removed first, meaning that the orange plate must be place back into the grey plate first. If you’re into NERF warfare of the less subtle persuasion, the Hyperfire is a suitably unsubtle beast that offers a ton of fun. If you’re trying to be at all stealthy, that goes out the window when you spin the Hyperfire up – your foe may have a split second’s warning before the darts rain down. But if it fits you, it makes a fantastic full-auto blaster for covering or defensive roles in a NERF war. This Blaster does take 4 x D Cell batteries, which aren't cheap, but we haven't yet had to replace them, despite some daily use and a couple of drawn out battles.

It did manage the claimed 27m range, but with wild inconstency and with no accuracy whatsoever out to that distance. The Hyperfire has 20 screws in it's main body, the four in the conveyor belt do not need to be removed before disassembly. This post was intended to serve as an in-house troubleshooter and Internal Guide for the Internal Directory of the new Nerf N-Strike Elite Hyperfire, far different than the current Hyperfire. The other thing you notice is how much quieter and smoother it is than the older full-auto blasters too. So, let’s pop some fresh batteries in, and see how it matches up to my favourite full-auto blaster, the RapidStrike. While this is not on par with the Rival Range, it is noticeably better than other flywheelers like the RapidStrike or Stryfe. The blaster is suitable for ages 8 and up and has a high firing rate, making it perfect for outdoor activities.
