Five children from different countries show us who they love and how to say 'I love you' in their own languages.I also didn't like how the book attempts to use the word 'gay' throughout the book even though the author explains why in the back matter it just felt like if anything it created even more of a stigma to the word because it was used just about on every page. There are plenty of notes at the end for kids and parents (which I'm not usually a fan of in picture books; if you can't say what you needed to say in the main text, then maybe the book needs some work). This sweet and straightforward story shows that gay families and straight families and everything in between are all different kinds of normal.
