The best time to read a book depends on your personal schedule and preferences. Here are some suggestions: I just love how the two of them worked together to help each other improve different aspects of their lives. Her self image and his business. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God!?? That was the fastest I’ve read a book all year. Holy crap, this was good. This book was a true journey of self love. It has the “teach me sex” trope you have may have read in other books, but this book does it BEST. I love it because it wasn’t provocative, but rather, like I said, all about self-love, and finding the inner confidence to be yourself in a relationship and especially in the bedroom. It was heartwarming, inspiring, and HOT!!

Actually, let me talk about my two favorite things about this book first. If I had to base the rating on those alone, it would be an EASY 5 stars. Kay Cove is a masterful writer, her prose flows with ease and I never felt the overall tone of the dialogue lose its steam at any point. While yes, some word choices in the dialogue could’ve been better (ahem, queen), I enjoyed her writing, I really did. Even more than that, I really enjoy the way Kay Cove writes spice. It’s hot without going over the top, it’s sweet when it needs to be, in the best ways, without crossing the line to cringe, and when the kink started getting involved? Honestly, Kay Cove's writing shined during the spice scenes, she never missed (well, until one fateful scene). Avery is celebrating her 30th birthday with her boyfriend when he tells her that he loves her but he’s not IN love with her anymore and thinks it’s time to call it quits - but still wants to work with her since they own a business together.This book was so good and I’m excited I got an ARC! Avery and Finn are perfect for each other and such strong characters individually that they have a really fun dynamic to read. Avery moves to Las Vegas after her bf of 4 yrs breakup with her on her 30th birthday. She wants to find herself after feeling like she became everything her ex said he wanted. Her confidence is blown to pieces and she has major insecurities about her body. She also has a very unlikeable best friend who is a walking red flag that is constantly in her ear, but I digress. Enter Finn, her new neighbor for the summer. A boudoir photographer and a women’s biggest hype man! Seriously we first meet him hyping up a 70yr old women during a photoshoot and the way he speaks to her will make you swoon. Avery and Finn have instant attraction to each other but are initially just friends, until Avery asks him to be her sex coach in exchange for helping him with branding for his business. What follows is a friends to lovers, super spicy,fun banter, find yourself romance with some serious swoony moments!
