Aiden is still a creep hot psycho and Elsa is still a hot mess of unfinished business and lost memories. I do have one criticism, and that is that Rina Kent does some heavy-handed hinting that I don’t feel it was necessary to plant to readers. It’s unnecessary to tell your reader that there is more to a character than they know. If you write a compelling character, you don’t need to justify that character for sympathy. She does this a few times with Silver, who she has received a great deal of grief over on her reader groups. I feel like it cheapened Silver’s character to have Elsa tell us that we shouldn’t judge her and that we should give her the benefit of curiosity.

So overall, this was an enjoyable read. A couple personal preference issues, but I am looking forward to see how this all plays out in the third book! 👍 It’s not only her body or her heart that I’m interested in, I want her entire soul so she’ll never be able to leave me. This book was every bit as good as I had hoped it would be. Every book in this series gets better, from Cruel King, to Deviant King and Now Steel Princess. Rina Kent published her first book this year and she will have published something like 11 books by the end of 2019. I think I have rated every one of her books 5 stars. I love that she has strong possessive men as the Hero’s and even stronger women who are not afraid to stand up to them. I really enjoyed book one, but the book two and three writing felt like it was done by a different author. It was SO repetitive with the characters' inner thoughts and motivations. Literally, the same thoughts, emotions, and plot directives regurgitated themselves over and over again here. It just felt very...directionless, messy, and childish, sadly.I felt that, although Steel Princess also alternated with Aiden’s POV, readers can learn a lot more about him in this book. His past, his motivations, how he sees Elsa, why he is the way he is… He also seemed to realize that to have a real relationship with Elsa, he needed to do things the right way. He doesn’t really want something he has to force and I think he sees that a bit more now. He does a good grovel too, which was great.
