Description

Allah SWT chose 99 other names (Asmaul Husna ) for Himself. They’re called Asmaa Allah al Husna or Asma ul Husna. It is important for your children to understand that He is not like anything they can imagine. He is not like any King they know, and He most certainly does NOT have a crown!

The first of the five pillars of Islam is belief in Allah (SWT). As Muslims, we believe in Allah (SWT) in accordance with His beautiful names and attributes. Learning and memorizing the names of Allah (SWT) will help us to identify the correct way to believe in Him. 99 names of Allah wall artThe idea of the game is simple enough for children as young as 4 year-old to understand! My little girl certainly enjoyed playing! We play the memory game for a special treat a few times a week, enjoying our time together, whilst also revising the Blessed names we have learnt.

As a visual representation of this name, the children made a crown! Whilst they were making it, we talked about how Allah doesn’t wear a crown, and how Allah does not look like any king that they can imagine. We spoke a little about the role of a king and I asked them, “Who is the King of the Kings? ….. Allah!” Whilst the kids were making the Crown Craft (outlined below) our conversation went something like this: The 99 names of Allah are considered important in Islam and the Muslim community. They appear in the Quran and hadith, and memorizing them is considered righteous. These names are believed to be God’s most beautiful names, so they are also often used as names for boys or girls. The 99 names of AllahLearning about the 99 names of Allah connects the hearts of children to their Lord. It helps them to develop a better understanding of Him and their own place in this world. And what better way to teach children than through gentle, play-based activities! The 99 names of Allah are considered to be descriptions of God’s qualities and are used to invoke God’s presence in prayer and meditation.

Assalamu alaikum Dr. Gemma, thank you for the great ideas. I have been using the names of Allah (swt) as the foundation for my preschool Islamic education. I am a preschool director in California and teach the Islamic section of the day. After a short discussion or story read about a name we do a craft. We have used the same idea you had for the name of Allah but to teach Al-Wahid where they paint, fill with glitter or sequin a large # 1 and at the bottom of every name I always print out a short sentence highlighting the goal of the name, for example ” Allah is Al-Wahid, He is One and only one, he has no father, no mother or no son” Join thousands of Muslim Families who love learning Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies from the comfort of their Homes. This is the story of a young girl called Aishah who wants to bake. Her mum agrees to teach her how, but she asks her to guess all the ingredients they need. What is wonderful is how her mum uses clues with an Islamic or Prophetic twist!!! If you have any questions about the Beautiful Names of Allah Memory Game by Faithful Kids, leave it for me in the comments below! Simply place the cards face down on the table and take turns to find the matching pairs. As each player turns over a card, they must read that card aloud to the group. This helps other players to know which cards are where, and helps with the memorisation of the Asma-ul-Husna. The winner is the player to find the most matching pairs.

As Muslims, we believe that Allah’s names offer several advantages for us. 99 Names Of Allah (Asmaul Husna ) With Meaning And Benefits, Muslims repeat Allah’s names in their prayers on a daily basis for protection, good health, comfort, riches, removal of poverty, success, attaining respect, and acceptance of the request, among other things. That is why we must instill these in our children. As-Samee’ with a picture of an ear that is cut up and numbered and they have to assemble the puzzle to reveal the picture. It’s a sweet and heart-warming story that helps children to understand what a blessing it is to have food, as well as the Blessings that different foods contain; and ultimately to be more grateful to Allah for providing us with them. We use them as flashcards, each day revising the names previously learnt, and selecting the next card to memorise. I hope in this way, we will be able to memorise all 99 Names of Allah by the end of the year insha’Allah. I really loved that they include a small A4 poster of the 99 Names of Allah and a thoughtfully written pamphlet showing you how to play the various games. How to Play the Memory Game
