The speed is not the fastest I have used but it isn't a slouch and it more than handled most games and apps that I threw at it.
When comparing this phone to others you need to take into account its very reasonable price point and where it is positioned in the market. I think this phone is fantastic value and gives you a high level of performance and features at a fraction of the price of more expensive competitors. I have no hesitation in recommending this phone to others. There was one real issue we found with the Oppo A94 5G, and while we’re not sure it’s a wider issue with the phone, or just our review unit, it’s probably safer to bring it up just in case. When we put the handset through the Geekbench 5 benchmark test, it returned a multi-core score of 1641 - the A54 got 1664, and the A74 got 1629, so they’re roughly on par performance-wise. For context, the OnePlus Nord got 1877, the Moto G100 got 2875 and the Realme GT hit 3508 - all these phones are roughly similar in cost, though they do cost a little bit more than the A94 5G. The smartphone is enabled with GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS, USB Type-C, USB On-The-Go, and Bluetooth 5.1. The dimension of the device is 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.8 mm and it weighs 172 grams.Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset, the A94 worked well with high-end games like PUBG. And it’s more than powerful enough for scrolling through social media apps and watching videos.
The price is the real selling point of the Oppo A94 5G though - despite costing more than its siblings, it’s still great value if you’re looking for next-gen connectivity. Phase detection, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, Video (4K@30fps, 1080p@30/120fps; gyro-EIS) These snappers are a 48MP f/1.7 main, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, 2MP f/2.4 macro and 2MP f/2.4 depth-sensing camera. There’s also a 16MP f/2.4 camera on the front. Overall, that array is about average for a phone at this price. Awesome value and a great all rounder I love the look of this phone. It's thin, lightweight, sleek and feels good in the hand. I've used many phones in my life and this is up there with how it feels to hold. The buttons feel solid and well positioned and the phone overall definitely gives the impression of being more expensive than it actually is. The screen has a maximum brightness of 800 nits, which allows it to work well outside. This is standard in the industry and is to be expected. PerformanceThe A94 5G comes with a 4310mAh battery. It’s enough to get you through a full day of heavy usage and two days of light use. It’s standard for a mid-range phone. The Oppo phone often dropped connection for small periods of time when we were using it, whether with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity. The first of those manifested in connected headphones sometimes disconnecting and reconnecting after a few seconds; Wi-Fi was sometimes a problem playing online games where we’d now and then repeatedly freeze, or be seconds out of sync for other players; twice in our time with the phone data dropped out completely, though restarting the device fixed the error.
