This is a nice and simple fragrance. Nothing complicated, nothing mind blowing, just coconut and vanilla with a hint of a white flower bouquet (but a very tiny hint) Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS. Full blast of alcohol on every first spray. There's no getting around that. Then, a nice - surprisingly very nice - pink lemonade smell! It's sparkling, sweet, zesty, fruity, and has that distinctive "pink fruit" smell. It settles to a straight-forward synthethic strawberry with slight rum (or maybe the alcohol just wanted to say hello again, I dunno) smell that doesn't last very long. The sparkling pink lemonade aspect is definitely my favourite part.

Please, don't buy it if you've laid hands on Lancome, Chanel, Thierry Mugler, D&G or those big names before- not hating on celebrity perfumes, but- you will really regret it.

I wore this eons ago as a teenager, and had a strong desire to try it again. Once I bought a bottle, I sprayed and was outraged! Nothing! NOTHING THERE! Until I sprayed again - literally layering on the same perfume. A few moments later - There it is! You gotta layer this baby. Although I have eventually found it wearable, the time it takes to get past the opening wouldkeep me from recommending it and I likely won't be keeping my bottle. This is pretty easy to find for a great price. But there are other affordable fragrances that I don't have to "suffer" through a stage just end up with something simply wearable. I find NYC to be a very well balanced fragrance on that truly reflects the gestalt of a cities shopping centres and department stores, this could be any shopping hub. I would still advise not to apply too heavily - although it didn't give me a headache (like gardenia usually does), it has AMAZING sillage. Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).

Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication. The fragrance comes with it's own storage container printed with what appears to be strips of paper and fabrics, one can keep little secret things in the container too.Sillage and projection are tame. Shoulder-shrugglingly tame. I wear it for lazying around the house or running errands. The bottle isn't my favourite. A tiny bit busy, no? Good thing about it is that's hella-easy to find in my bag. :) I have the solid the EDT and EDP, it's best to layer this with it's accompanying products, with the EDT to revamp the scent along the way. It stays close to the skin, other people wont really notice it, I think. Even directly after I sprayed it, and when it dryed down, I have to sniff my wrist to smell it. It´s very light. Almost like a bodyspray, but the lasting power is longer than a bodyspray. Now, let me start by saying when I see "coconut and gardenia (or white floral)" as a frag's primary notes, I usually think: Oh no! A "Summer SCREACHER!" and I run away. Usually, when gardenia hits my skin, it puts the "PEE" in perfume, if you know what I mean. I wouldn't have bought this if I'd read the notes first, but since it was a blind buy... I am actually GLAD I didn't know! It's coconut MILK - not sugary, candy coconut - and it smells very authentic! Then soft gardenia slips in, quietly, not screamingly. There might be a tiny tiny bit of rose or other soft (not powdery) floral in there also. Very tropical, very well done.

I just love the "regular" NYC, so I thought that if Pure Crush is related, I'd give it a try. I was told by others that it smelled like coconut, so I tried to imagine NYC + coconut. Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health. I found the performance a bit disappointing. It lasts a few hours, but is a skin scent after about a half hour. I originally bought this fragrance in summertime and when I tried it on a hot, humid summer day. The artificial-ness of the strawberry note was amplified and suffocating. Trying it now on a cooler spring day it is much more tolerable. I have been able to wear it long enough to get to the more pleasant drydown, while I could not when wearing it in the heat.Never dreamed I would find my final coconut fantasy in the bargain basement - but here it is and here we are, then. Platonic perfect coconut with impressive performance for ridiculously little money. It's nothing but win. When I use a scented bodylotion with it, it seems to dissapear directly. It´s so light, every other scent will be dominant compared to SJP NYC Pure Crush, so be careful with that.
