On 4 November 1968, a 10-year-old girl named Margaret Aulton narrowly escaped an attempted abduction in Bridgeman Street, Walsall, in which a man engaged her in conversation as she stood on a section of waste ground placing pieces of wood upon a bonfire. The bodies of all three children were discovered on Cannock Chase; a vast area of countryside in the county of Staffordshire.

The modus operandi of Taylor's 1964 abduction and body disposal also led investigators to strongly link her abduction and attempted murder to the same perpetrator. For hundreds of years, the area has been experiencing some crazy paranormal activity and supernatural phenomena.
